As per artist Simas Šuminskas: “The experience was accumulated during a few years of traveling alone through Central Asia with a backpack. I got to know the word self-reflection when I was 11 years old. Until now, it is the main focus of attention, and creativity is a space to express this experience. I have had a pencil in my hands since I was a child. I name my works, as symbolism. If you are not lazy, look deeper and make friends – the picture will open for you. Dynamic stylistics is my desire not to get used to the same thing. Life is dynamic and unpredictable. The works are philosophical, elegant, minimalistic, and maybe simplistic, but from the right point of view, you can always see beauty and comfort. Why are my works the way they are? I want to remind the viewer not to forget how unfathomable he is and his experience in life.”
