Good emotions cards for children
Unique, Lithuanian cards created with love by illustrator and text author Lina Žemyna.
24 cards for children from 3 to 12 years old. These cards will help your children develop and maintain positive thinking patterns. Playful pictures of a panda, a wolf, a squirrel, an elephant and other animals, with sentences spoken by the animals themselves, will encourage children to be more confident, strengthen their self-esteem and help them draw boundaries.
Methods of use:
Reflections
Pull out the card in the morning, getting ready for kindergarten or school. Discuss a picture, an animal, a positive thought. Repeat with the child several times. Ask how he feels when he says these words. When the child is in a difficult situation, worried, gnawing or afraid, you can pull out a card and find out what the animals say about it. A positive thought will help you get out of the circle of bad thoughts. In the evening, before going to sleep, choose a card and discuss it, feel it, repeat the positive thought several times.
Charades
Acting is always great fun and this activity entertains and brings the whole family together. Pull out a card, don’t show it to anyone, and try to picture the animal without words or sounds. And all the other players try to guess which animal you represent. If the task turns out to be too difficult, you can connect the sound made by the animal as an aid to the guessers.
